The Poetry of Small Moments

Finding Wonder in the In-Between

The wonder of life isn’t just in the grand milestones… the weddings, the promotions, the big celebrations. It’s in the quiet, unassuming moments that slip by if we don’t pause to notice them. The warmth of the sun on your skin after days of rain. The way laughter bubbles up unexpectedly between friends. The deep, steadying breath you take when you step outside and the world feels, just for a second, like it was made just for you.

These are the moments that stitch life together, the ones that ask for nothing but leave the deepest imprint on our hearts.

Where Have You Found Yours?

Maybe it’s in the way your child’s hand fits perfectly in yours when you walk together. Or the first sip of coffee in the morning, when the house is still quiet. Maybe it’s the way light filters through leaves, painting the ground in gold, or the hum of a song that finds you exactly when you need it.

I’ve been thinking lately about how the most ordinary things are often the most extraordinary, if we let ourselves see them that way.

Poetry in Motion

Lately, I’ve become obsessed with the way life moves, how art, nature, and even our own bodies create rhythms without trying.

  • The way the ocean pulls back before a wave crashes, like it’s gathering its breath.

  • The effortless glide of a bird riding the wind, wings barely moving, as if the sky itself carries it.

  • The way paint spills across a canvas, unforced but intentional, like it knows exactly where it’s meant to go.

  • Even the way we move—stretching, dancing, running, breathing, is its own kind of art.

It’s all connected, all part of the same quiet dance. And maybe the real art is simply learning to notice it…to pause long enough to see the poetry unfolding around us.

The Invitation

So here’s my question for you: Where do you find your in-between moments? The ones that don’t make it into highlight reels but fill your soul anyway?

Is it in the way steam curls from your tea cup in the morning? The way your dog sighs when they finally settle into sleep? Or the way a stranger’s smile can feel like a small, unexpected gift?

I’d love to know, because I think these are the things that make life whole. Not the big, flashy events, but the tiny, sacred details that remind us we’re alive.

Let’s notice them together.

With love and a heart full of small wonders,

Tiffany xo
